I'm standing at the Sun Gate entrance with Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu behind me. The Sun Gate is the entrance to the Machu Picchu site from the Inca trail. Most of the people coming by way of the Inca trail looked exhausted, so staying in Aguas Caliente is a great advantage.
